COL(Ret) Stacey Corn 

Stacey enlisted in the TN ARNG as a 19D in 1988 and later was commissioned as an Armor officer in Dec 1991. His first duty assignment was as a Scout Platoon leader and Troop Executive Officer in 2-7 CAV, 4th ID and aide-de-camp for the ADC-M at Ft. Carson Colorado. Stacey then had a four-year break in service and returned in October 1999 and attended the Armor Officer Advanced Course. Following the Armor Officer Advanced Course, he was assigned to the 2d Battalion, 72d Tank Regiment, Camp Casey, Korea where he served as the BN S4.
Upon his return to the US, he was assigned to 2d Squadron, 2d Armored Cavalry Regiment, Ft. Polk, LA where he served as an assistant S3 and Troop Commander for 20 months. During command he deployed his Troop to Iraq and participated in the ground invasion in March of 2003 and conducted operations in Sadr City, Iraq. Following command Stacey was assigned to the Tarantula O/C Team (Airborne), The National Training Center (NTC), Ft. Irwin, CA where he participated in over 33 rotations.
After Attending CGSC he was assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade where he served as the Squadron Operations Officer and Squadron Executive Officer in 1-91 CAV (ABN) and participated in OEF IX/X. He was then assigned to the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC), Hohenfels, Germany as an OC-T on the Warhog team where he served as the Deputy Senior Task Force OIC.
In June 2013 Stacey assumed command of 4th BN 353rd Armor Regiment, Ft. Polk, LA where he was primarily responsible for training all Security Force Assistance Teams (SFATs) and Brigades prior to their rotation to Afghanistan. In June 2014 the 162d IN BDE deactivated and Stacey then assumed command of 1-409 CAV (AC/RC) at Fort Knox, KY and was responsible for ensuring the war readiness of all National Guard Cavalry formations.
Stacey was then selected to be the Armor Enlisted Branch Chief for the Human Resources Command (HRC). After serving six months as the Armor Branch Chief, Stacey was selected to be the Operations Division Chief for the Enlisted Personnel Management Division. Stacey was then selected for and attended the Air War College at Maxwell, AFB and earned his master’s degree in Strategic Studies.
After the War College, Stacey served as the Chief of Land Forces Division where he was the senior Army advisor to the Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
After Stacey’s assignment to Saudi Arabia, he was selected to be the Inspector General for Central Command (CENTCOM) at MacDill, AFB, Tampa. Stacey was responsible for reporting on the discipline, efficiency, economy, morale, training, and readiness of the 60,000 personnel assigned to CENTCOM. Stacey was also responsible for the inspection of 20 embassy staff and Security Cooperation offices to ensure the enforcement of all laws and regulations.
During the assignment as IG, Stacey was accepted into the VA’s Post-Deployment Rehabilitation and Evaluation Program (PREP). PREP is a nine-week, intensive therapy program that treats PTSD, TBI and the comorbidities associated with them. While in the PREP program Stacey founded Eagle 6 Adventure, which is a nonprofit organization. Eagle 6 Adventures mission is to promote recreational and therapeutic opportunities for Veterans and First Responders who have experienced trauma in the line of duty. Eagle 6 Adventures accomplishes this by offering Inshore charters, Paddleboard/Kayak Trips, Eco Tours, Sunset Cruises, Beach Days, and Snorkeling Trips.
