We take veterans, first responders, Gold Star Families, and youth on free fishing trips and outdoor water experiences across Southwest Florida’s most beautiful waters.
I served 34 years in the United States Army. I led soldiers through combat, through loss, and through the kind of experiences that don’t leave you when you take off the uniform.
When I retired, I came home carrying more than most people could see. PTSD doesn’t announce itself — it just quietly changes everything. I spent two years traveling the country with my family, searching for what was next. Looking for peace. Looking for purpose.
We found that peace on the water. And I started Eagle 6 Adventures so no veteran would have to find their way there alone. People kept asking me to bring E6A back. Veterans. Families. Friends. And I finally listened — because the mission was never finished. It was just waiting.
Marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols documented in his landmark book Blue Mind the proven evidence that being near, in, on, or under water measurably improves mental health. Veterans have known this for generations. Science is finally catching up.
The landmark book documenting the proven connection between water and human wellbeing. Required reading for anyone who wants to understand why Eagle 6 Adventures works.
“We don’t hand veterans a pamphlet. We put them on a boat. We hand them a rod. And we let the water do what the water does.”— Stacey Corn, Colonel (Ret.) · Founder, Eagle 6 Adventures
Time spent near and on the water measurably reduces PTSD symptoms, lowers anxiety, and quiets the nervous system in ways that conventional therapy alone often cannot achieve. For veterans, it’s not just recreation — it’s medicine. And at Eagle 6 Adventures, it’s completely free.
For veterans, first responders, Gold Star Families, and youth. No paperwork. No waitlists. Just show up.
Up to 8 hours on Charlotte Harbor and surrounding waters. Redfish, snook, grouper, sharks — Southwest Florida inshore fishing at its finest. Bring your family, your battle buddy, or come solo. Equipment provided.
Glide through Florida’s most breathtaking waterways — mangrove tunnels, open bays, and wildlife around every bend. No experience needed. Just a willingness to try something new and let the water do the rest.
Secluded beaches and sandbars accessible only by boat. No crowds, no noise — just your family, the Gulf, and open sky.
Watch the sun go down over Charlotte Harbor with dolphins and manatees as your company. Sometimes the mission is simply finding peace.
Our team doesn’t just understand what veterans carry home from service — we’ve carried it ourselves. Every trip we run is led by people who know.

These are the words of those who’ve been on the water with us. No brochure captures it better than they do.
“As the Gold Star mom of a soldier KIA and widow of a retired Marine Corps war Veteran, I’m thankful for Stacey Corn’s friendship and the time he takes through Eagle 6 Adventures to provide a safe, fun and quality environment to help others step outside the darkness of war trauma and grief — to enjoy conversation understood by all involved, or quiet peace and solace while holding a fishing rod on the water in the sun. It’s at the top of the best therapy I could ever have! If anyone knows the necessity for this and its calming power, it is retired Army war Veteran, Stacey Corn.”
“I came out here not knowing what to expect. Three hours on the water and I felt more like myself than I had in years. No pressure, no agenda — just the water and good people who get it.”
“Eagle 6 gave my family something we didn’t know we needed. My husband doesn’t open up easily, but out on that boat, he laughed. Really laughed. That means everything.”
Eagle 6 Adventures extends its mission beyond veterans to include the children of those who served and youth from the broader community. We partner with local schools and youth organizations to get kids on the water — teaching them to fish, to respect the environment, and to understand the sacrifices made on their behalf.
Every young person who steps on our boat leaves with more than a fishing memory. They leave with a connection — to the water, to their community, and to the veterans who made it possible.
These men served with honor. They gave everything. Every trip we take on the water is dedicated to their memory. They are never far from this boat.
They answered the call without hesitation. They stood beside their brothers. They gave the last full measure of devotion so that others could live free.
The barracks at Fort Benning bear Patrick’s name. The ground holds Chris and Sean. The memory of Crash lives in every sunrise on the water.
We don’t forget. We don’t move on. We carry them — every trip, every cast, every veteran we bring home to the water.
