I served 34 years in the United States Army. I led soldiers through combat, through loss, and through the kind of experiences that don’t leave you when you take off the uniform.
When I retired, I came home carrying more than most people could see. PTSD doesn’t announce itself — it just quietly changes everything. I spent two years traveling the country with my family, searching for what was next. Looking for peace. Looking for purpose.
We found that peace on the water. And I started Eagle 6 Adventures so no veteran would have to find their way there alone. People kept asking me to bring E6A back. Veterans. Families. Friends. And I finally listened — because the mission was never finished. It was just waiting.

Eagle 6 Adventures extends its mission beyond veterans to include the children of those who served and youth from the broader community. We partner with local schools and youth organizations to get kids on the water — teaching them to fish, to respect the environment, and to understand the sacrifices made on their behalf.
